The mission of the Sturgeon School Division is to ensure that all students achieve success in the programs of study offered in our schools.

Honors/Merit - Grades 7 to 9

Honors
Students who receive an average of 80% in core subjects (Math, Language Arts, Social and Science) and no marks lower than 50% or a “B - below expectations” in all other courses.

Merit
Students who receive an average of 75% in core subjects (Math, Language Arts, Social and Science) and no marks lower than 50% or a “B” – below expectations” in all other courses.
